I am a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist operating as a sole trader under Abby Ross Therapy. I provide psychotherapy services in-person and occasionally via Zoom for remote sessions.

Note on bank statements:

If you pay for sessions via bank transfer, your payment reference may appear on statements. This could be visible to third parties (e.g. mortgage providers), but no clinical details are disclosed.

Confidentiality and data security

  • Session notes are anonymised and stored securely (electronically with password protection or in locked physical files)

  • Zoom sessions are conducted with encryption

  • Emails/texts are kept secure, but electronic communication carries inherent risks - please avoid sharing sensitive details this way

Data sharing and third parties

I will never share your personal data without consent unless legally required (e.g. safeguarding concerns, court orders).

Limited exceptions:

  • Supervision: I discuss cases anonymously with my clinical supervisor

  • Payment processors: Your bank details are shared only for transaction purposes
